TIOXIDE® TR81 pigment is a rutile pigment specially developed for high performance coating applications. It wets and disperses readily giving very good colour and brightness together with high opacity and durability.
These properties make TIOXIDE® TR81 pigment suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications such as can and coil coatings and general industrial, water and solvent-borne paints.
Producers of today’s industrial paints are understandably demanding when it comes to selecting titanium dioxide pigments.  The demands are even more extreme when the requirement is for one grade to cover many formulations, but this is precisely why TIOXIDE® TR81 pigment was developed.  TIOXIDE® TR81 pigment provides a balance of properties which make it the ideal universal grade for industrial applications. The grade was designed to deliver the highest possible levels of optical performance, whilst providing weathering resistance appropriate to industrial coatings.
